The roses have almost fallen on Stine Bramsen lately. Not only because of her fantastic solo album “Blonde & Blank”, but also for her performances on the Danish live stages. It has become 5 stars in several dailies and descriptions such as strong, perfect, brilliant, class, vulnerable, terrific, sharp and a cool captain.
Now Stine Bramsen announces “The Acoustic Tour”, where she plays 19 acoustic concerts all over the country, and for the first time in her career, she has with her a team of exclusively female musicians: Kajsa Vala on guitar, Emilie Espichicoque on percussion and Anja Kolyova on bass.
“I started my career in a boy band (Alphabeat), with whom I lived, toured and made records. Now I want to try, to be around women both on and behind the stage, and see what it’s like and what it does to me and the music live”, says Stine Bramsen.
The upcoming acoustic tour will revolve around the songs from the critically acclaimed solo album “Blonde & Blank”. An album that has been praised, with quotes such as: “an incomparable and mature soundtrack to the modern women’s struggle (GAFFA)”, “… she takes the stand and speaks up. In an elegant and insistent way – and on behalf of all women (Politiken)”, she “… masters the ABC of pop with traditionally rooted craftsmanship at an international level (Ekstra Bladet)”.
“I’m looking forward to getting into the rehearsal room and working on both the songs from the new album, but also the cool women I have with me, who each have some exciting projects going on at the side. I believe that we can both inspire and challenge each other, give my songs a new expression, and the audience a very special musical experience.” says Stine Bramsen.
The band consists of the talented guitarist Kajsa Vala, who is also a solo artist in her own name. She has, among other things, released two solo albums and played critically acclaimed concerts all over the country. Emilie Espichicoque is both a drummer, percussionist, singer and dancer, and is currently working on her first solo album under her own name. Anja Kolyova plays bass on a daily basis in Total Hip Replacement.
For this evening, Jesper Koch has designed an exquisite 3-course menu, where the best ingredients and food traditions come to the fore. Wine menu with wines selected especially for the food is included in the ticket price.
