Tim Christensen is one of the most significant figures in recent Danish rock history – first as frontman of one of the biggest bands of the 1990s, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, and then as a successful solo artist.
His solo career was kick-started by the album “Secrets On Parade” (2000), which sold 70,000 copies, not least thanks to the single “Love Is A Matter Of”. “Right Next To The Right One”, which served as the title song for the TV series “Nikolaj Og Julie” (2002), also did a lot of good for Tim Christensen, who has released several albums since his solo debut.
For this evening, Jesper Koch has put together an exquisite 3-course menu that emphasises the best ingredients and food traditions. A wine menu with wines specially selected for the meal is included in the ticket price.
Jesper Koch is at the centre of Alsik’s gastronomic universe. He has developed and manages the hotel’s three restaurants, Restaurant Alsik, Freia’s Spisestue and the Michelin-starred restaurant Syttende.
After working at a string of restaurants in Denmark and abroad, including several Michelin-starred restaurants, and after founding several restaurants, the chef from Southern Jutland has returned home to put Alsik and Sønderborg on the gastronomic map.
